Allagash Night at Barcade

In what promises to be an amazing night of libations, Barcade has announced plans for the upcoming Allagash night this Friday (11/17) starting at 6:00PM! For the un-indoctrinated, Allagash is an American Craft-Brewery that specializes in Belgian Ales that are unrivaled (aside from possibly Ommegang). If you haven't tried one, or truly all, of these ales I can't recommend them highly enough!

Enough with the introduction...the tap list is as follows:

Allagash Curieux - Belgian Tripel aged in Jim Beam bourbon barrels - 9.5% ABV
Allagash FOUR - Belgian style Quadruple - 10.0% ABV
Allagash Grand Cru 2004 - dark, spicy Belgian winter ale aged 2 years in the Barcade vault - 7.2% ABV
Allagash Interlude - Belgian Farmhouse Ale aged in French Oak Merlot and Syrah casks - 9.5% ABV
Allagash Musette - Scotch Ale is smoky, spicy and aged 3 months in bourbon barrels - 10.0% ABV
Allagash Red Wine Barrel-aged Tripel - Belgian Tripel aged in French Oak Merlot and Syrah casks - 9.0% ABV
Allagash White - You know this one. In fact, it's one of your favorite beers - 5.0% ABV

i hope you managed to stay away from that 10%-er.

That sounds deadly stuff. Had a very mad night once when I drank 6 bottles of Chimay Blue (belgian)( which are 9.5%

never again
