Brewtopia Version 4.0

Tickets for the fourth annual Brewtopia Festival are officially on sale here, for $60 each session. The festival setup is changing to cover two days (Friday & Saturday, October 19th & 20th) and three sessions as follows:

Friday October 19th - Session I - 7:00pm to 11:00 pm
Saturday October 20th - Session I - 12:00pm to 4:00 pm
Saturday October 20th - Session I - 6:00pm to 10:00pm

The festival is being held in the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, it's third location for it's fourth festival. So far there are 100 breweries that have agreed to attend, including three of my personal favorites Avery Brewing Company, Great Divide, and Wyerbacher Brewing.

I'm thinking of starting a petition to get these three breweries to attend the festival: Russian River Brewing Company, Three Floyds Brewing Company, and Pizza Port. Please let me know if you'd be willing to join a petition to send to the organizers of the festival. I will send it along...just leave your name and e-mail address in the comments and I'll draft a list. Thanks! Hope it works!

Three Floyds, Russian River and Pizza Port have all declined to attend. These are friends of mine, all of them, and unfortunately, the logistics of getting to New York, considering all of their other issues, makes it impossible for this festival. Perhaps the next one. Anwyay, the petition should go to the aforementioned brewers, not the festival organizers who happen to really know beer and brewers and have been working quite dilligently to make certain the best of the best do indeed participate if at all possible.
